An 8-year-old boy was brought to the clinic by his mother. The boy complained of abdominal pain since few days ago. The mother noticed that there was blood-stained mucous discharge per rectum. She also mentioned that the boy had cough and cold few weeks ago. The boy also complained of mild arthralgia in the wrists and ankles.
On examination, the doctor noticed that there is a palpable purpuric rash in the gluteal region and lower limbs. There was also slight pedal oedema.
